description
In making Chivas Regal 18YO, a blend of well-aged, full-of-character, flavoursome malt whiskies from over twenty different malts were used. Renowned distillers, the Chivas Brothers, use only well-aged grain whisky in order to avoid harsh tones on the palate and ensure that none of the blend is less than eighteen years old, having gained rich, smoky flavours and aromas through long cask aging. Its flavour is rich and exceptionally smooth, with chocolate orange, some citrus, and spice on the nose and a full, fruity, citrusy, and spicy palate, with sherry notes to finish.
